Literature Review
This Literature review will explore the previous and current views of distinct authors and professional bodies touching on vital key points of the study. The review will be discussed in three parts following this order:

First part
will analyse the evolving concept of project success
Ø
Second
part will analyse characteristics of success assessment before and
during the 21
stcentury.
Ø
Third part
will analyse stakeholder role in defining and attaining project
success.
Research Methods
A pragmatic approach involving the combination of both qualitative and quantitative methods will be used in this research.
Qualitative Method: A multi-case study approach involving projects in at least two organisations will be used for this research to develop a better perspective and enable comparison of data which will provide more credibility to the study.
Quantitative Method: This method draws on the previously stated hypotheses and will use the survey method.
Data Collection & Evaluation
The research will employ the use of secondary data collection method.
Secondary Data: This study will be from secondary sources such as relevant literature, business and management journals articles and books in other to gain understanding about the research area.
