Critical Review of Strategic Plan

This Paper is for PhD in ‘Public Health’ and is for the course on Leadership & Managmenet. There are 3 Strategic Plans Attached for 3

different organizations. Please compare and contrast the 3 organizations strategic plans keeping in mind to answer the following

questions in the writeup that you will complete.

1.    Was the stakeholder engagement appropriate/sufficient?  Were there any constituencies that were overlooked? Did any of the

organizations emphasize this aspect of planning more/less than the others?

2.    Consider the mission/vision/values—are the purposes of the organizations clear and unambiguous?  What improvements would you suggest?

3.    Is there evidence of a thorough environmental scan included in the plans?

4.    Are the organizations’ theory of change or major strategic approaches clear and likely to work?

5.    Is the competitive analysis/position of the organizations in their fields clear or easy to assess from the plan?

6.    Is the sustainability of the organizations likely based on the information you can glean from the plans?

7.    If you were hired as the Executive Director/CEO of this organization, do these plans give you the guidance you need to achieve the organizations’ desired purpose/outcomes?
